主讲人简介：

宁陆涛(Lutao Ning)，英国伦敦玛丽女王大学商务管理学院教授，国际事务中心主任。博士毕业于英国剑桥大学，曾执教于剑桥大学、杜伦大学。主要研究领域涵盖对外直接投资、企业创新、经济统计、经济安全等。近五年，在国际核心期刊Research Policy等发表30多篇高水平学术论文，出版专著1部。

内容摘要：

For developing countries like China, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)is considered as a major source of advanced technology through which the hostcountry can achieve technological upgrading and economic development. In otherwords, FDI can generate knowledge spillovers to the local firms of the hostcountry. In this speech, in-depth discussions will be conducted as to how industrial structure of a region and the inflow of returnees can have impact on the level of knowledge spillovers from FDI. The research topics related to the speech has important implications for local policy makers in management of regional industrial structure as well as hiring of returnee labor force.
