Dr.Zhang is a fellow of Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE) (加拿大工程院院士), a fellow of ASME, senior member of IEEE, and senior member of SME.Dr.Zhang was one of the most highly cited researchers in the area of IEEE byElsevier China in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, respectively.

报告简介:Dynamicsystems are systems that change with respect to time, space and/or event. Oneexample of such a system is the holistic supply chain network system thespeaker proposed recently. Operation of a dynamic system makes sense for thesystem to fulfil its function and mission. Operation includes planning, scheduling and execution. Management of the operations extends control whichmakes sense to execution only. In this talk, the speaker discussed a theorycalled Operation management through design (OMTD), which simply say is toadvocate that operation management starts from design. Several examples ofapplying OMTD will also be discussed.
