报告人简介:Michael Winkler教授的研究方向为偏微分方程的定性分析,现为德国帕德博恩大学偏微分方程研究方向的学术带头人,也是国际上趋化模型研究领域的学术带头人之一,目前担任5份SCI国际期刊编委。Michael Winkler教授发表期刊论文130余篇,据Mathematical Reviews数据库记录, 被引用约3300余次, 为国际高被引数学学者。
报告摘要:In contrastto a large literature on boundedness results in varioustypes of chemotaxis systems, only fewfindings rigorously detect phenomena related to thespontaneous emergence of large densities,although the latter are among the probably most characteristic features ofevolution driven by chemotactic cross-diffusion. The presentation aims atdiscussing some recent developments in this field, with a focus on methodologicalaspects and, in particular, on analytical challenges inherent to the specialstructure of taxis-type cross-diffusion, which in most cases acts as asuperlinear nonlinearity apparently lacking, however, clear directionalproperties.
