主讲人简介：David Hui博士，美国新奥尔良大学终身教授、先进复合材料实验室主任，复合材料和机械工程领域国际知名专家，美国机械工程学会会士，格鲁吉亚、塞尔维亚和亚美尼亚工程院院士，长期担任国际复合材料和纳米工程会议(ICCE)主席。曾获俄亥俄州立大学科学研究奖、美国机械工程师协会 Ralph James 科学奖、美国航空航天局研究奖等荣誉。David Hui教授主要从事复合材料、纳米材料及能源材料等相关领域的科学研究，曾获美国国家自然科学基金、美国海军研究局、美国海洋大气局、美国航空和宇航局等基金资助，发表SCI论文400多篇，论文被引25000多次，H-index 为 82，出版专著 40 多部。David Hui 教授曾任复合材料领域国际 TOP 期刊 Composites Part B:Engineering(lF: 13.1)创刊主编，现为Nanotechnology Reviews(lF:7.4)和 Reviews onAdvanced Materials Science(IF.3.6)期刊主编。

主讲内容：The criteria for journal acceptance will be discussed, andexplained.  This will include 11 tips,and detailed descriptions on what an editor willlook for, and why a paper isaccepted or rejected.  This talks willenable students and professors to pay special attention on abstracts,introduction, methodology, results and conclusions.  The talk will also involve how to conductresearch to get the best results, and how to write MS or Ph.D. theses.
