主讲人简介:Antonin Novotny is Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Toulon and member of the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Toulon, France. Co-author of more than hundred papers and two monographs, he is one of the leading experts in the theory of compressible Navier-Stokes equations.
内容摘要:Existence results in large for fully non-linear compressible multi-fluid models are in the mathematical literature in a short supply (if not inexisting).In this talk, we shall recall the main ideas of the Feireisl-Lions proof of existence of weak solutions to the compressible (mono-fluid) Navier-Stokesequations in barotropic regime. We shall then explain how this approach can beadapted to the construction of weak solutions to some simple multi-fluidmodels. The main tools in the proofs are the renormalization techniques for thecontinuity and transport equations. They will be handled in more details.
